Our Ministries

When you come to Metro you are coming into a spiritual family. In our spiritual family it is important to us that everyone is well cared for.

For the children of the family (ages 6 weeks through middle school) we have the Children's Network. The Children's Network meets each Sunday during Celebration Service. Our dedicated and well trained volunteers, led by Fred and Yolande Phelps, parents of two children, Joseph, 5 and Saiah, 3. They will make sure that your little ones have fun as they learn about their faith in their own language.

Metro's Youth Network (League of Heroes) caters to our high school students. Every Saturday, youth leaders Pastor Tifiny and Christopher Johnson challenge our teens to become leaders in their social and educational spheres of influence.

Strateia is the college ministry at Metro, and is focused on helping students to become leaders in the Seven Pillars of Society: media, fine arts and entertainment, education, business, church, family and government. Headed by Elder Yul Crawford this ministry is reaching campuses across Atlanta and the United States.

Women and Men each have their respective networks, which are led by Bishop Flynn Johnson and his wife, Lady Carolyn Johnson. These homogeneous groups allow for candid conversations and personalized ministry in a welcoming atmosphere.

Couples who are married, engaged, or thinking about marriage are invited to participate in Friends & Lovers for Life. This ministry is under the direct mentorship of Bishop Flynn and Lady Carolyn Johnson whose marriage has grown in love, mutual respect and passion over the past 40 years. Whether it's in the Couples Connection class or a Couples Service this husband and wife team is always glad to share the time tested principles that have led them to a joyous and long-lasting marriage.
